Looking for LGBT Fun?
What I found about Miami is that it has such a free and accepting vibe. Accepting to differences in cultures, sexualities and more. Miami is most definitely one of the hottest places for the Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay and Tran sexual community. South beach even has a whole beach section with proudly raised rainbow flags. If it gets a little too hot out there, Palace is located right behind the gay beach area on Ocean Dr. and is open from breakfast to late night drinks. Many of the bars in South Beach like, Twist welcome the gay community with open arms; so much that often contest, skits or just live entertainment is part of the night. Twist is not only one of the most prominent gay clubs in Miami but also one of the biggest.
Located on Washington Ave, Twist is home to seven full bars all in one; meaning if you aren’t pleased with the first, there are six more to choose from. These bars are not just great ways to meet potential dates but also to make friends, network and just step into something a that we may not all have experience with. The establishments, although predominantly gay, do welcome straight visitors looking to have fun. If the bar scene isn’t your thing and you are looking for something a little more drastically fun check out club Azucar. It is not only one of the top gay spots in Miami but it is Latin and gay all in one.
Yes, drag queens, lipstick lesbians and straight visitors all
come to Azucar for a taste of the South Beach culture and this is
one club that definitely delivers. Before arriving in Miami make
sure to check out some online calendars as South Beach is very much
known for hosting major parties and events for the gay community
but again, they welcome visitors of any sexuality.
